Meltio, a leading innovator in DED wire-laser metal deposition technology and the creator behind the powerful Meltio M600 industrial metal 3D printer, has announced the new Meltio Engine Blue, an integration kit that enhances and streamlines the manufacturing process of metal parts with both industrial robotic arms and vertical machining centers, leveraging Meltio’s wire-laser metal 3D printing technology. This system is now available on the market as an integration kit, as a natural evolution of its predecessor, the Meltio Engine using infrared lasers.

An interesting project came to EXBuild when a good customer picked up an old wheeler. They wanted to utilize the accessory racks on the wheeler. They just could not find any mating accessories they liked. We looked it over, listened to what they wanted, took a few measurements and  quoted this project.

The French Navy has already validated the use of Meltio’s patented additive manufacturing technology for actual offshore maneuvers. Recently, the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle required the help of Meltio’s technology to manufacture and repair stainless steel metal parts to continue the experimental phase of the Meltio M450 metal 3D printer.
